A 10 course Caribbean tasting adventure. Come hungry because you will want to lick every dish clean. The menu is a work of art created by the head chef, Paul. Masterful composition of each dish- every ingredient adds and there’s no hint of stuffing in extravagant and expensive ingredients “just because”.....everything compliments perfectly and is clearly meant to be!
Top quality service, staff are friendly and extremely attentive yet not over-bearing.
With an establishment this prestigious it’s hard not to be stuffy and snobby.....but the vibe here is relaxed and casual, it’s almost as if they don’t realise how great they are- which is refreshing and makes for an enjoyable dining experience.
The kitchen is open, and much like the restaurant has a wonderfully relaxed atmosphere.
There is only one bathroom and to get to it you have to venture into the kitchen....a waiter will take you in and call out “coming through!”, it seems a little odd to walk by the dish washers in such an otherwise classy place, but we all thoroughly enjoyed venturing into the kitchen and getting an extra nose around!
Extensive beverage list, which is quite nice as drinks are all you have true control over. Although they of course ask you about your dietary requirements but also any strong food dislikes.
Overall a really enjoyable experience, of all the fine dining tasting menus I’ve eaten through this is by far my favourite!
